Bachelor’s degree; three or more years of experience in leadership preferred

$2,050 per course*
15 months

*To complete the full program, students must complete ten courses.

Your Resume-Building Curriculum

You’ll complete 10 courses — nine online and one in-person residency. The online 8-week courses blend guided study with synchronous components including live weekly classes and weekly homework required. During the program, you’ll earn your Financial Psychology Certificate, Organizational Leadership Certificate, and Executive Leadership Certificate.

MSFP 536 Behavioral Finance

Provides an introduction to behavioral finance research, theory, and introduces important behavioral biases that can be applied in a behaviorally informed approach to client-advisor relationships.

MSFP 591 Financial Psychology

Explores the impact of psychological factors on financial decision-making and how to work with and through those factors for improved client-advisor relationships.

MSFP 592 Financial Therapy and Counseling

Introduces various therapeutic and counseling techniques that can be employed to support clients in making positive changes.

MSFP 501 Fundamentals of Organizational Leadership

Provides an in-depth exploration of leadership and its effect on organizational culture, identifying the essential leadership skills needed to inspire, influence, and lead change.

MSFP 502 Leadership Communication and Organizational Direction

Examines the tools needed to effectively coach and mentor followers and execute strategic plans that align with organizational goals and foster empowerment and mission success.

MSFP 503 Organizational Change and Team Leadership

Explores visionary team leadership, change leadership strategies, goal setting, overcoming resistance, and fostering diversity and inclusion within organizational culture.

MSFP 504 The Effective Executive Leader

Develops executive leadership skills, emphasizing executive presence, decision-making, and corporate governance, while exploring leadership influence across multiple relationships.

MSFP 505 Executive Leadership Presence, Teams, Communication, and Coaching

Focuses on team dynamics, communication, coaching, and talent management, as well as exploring how to build networks and sustain high-performing teams.

MSFP 506 Executive Leadership Strategic Thinking & Decision Making

Defines models for strategic thinking and decision-making to support innovation, change management, and digital transformation in dynamic corporate environments.

MSFP 582 Ethical Behaviors in Financial Planning (In-Person Residency)

Join your peers at The College’s headquarters for 2.5 days of valuable networking and hands-on learning where you’ll identify barriers to ethical decision-making, explore models for ethical decision-making, and apply this knowledge to real-world examples.
